I don't know about y'all, but I am O.V.E.R. this summer weather.  I'm ready to start rocking the fall wear.  More importantly I'm ready for boot season. I want to be able to wear my flats without my feet sweating from the nasty 100+ degrees outside.  These lovely ladies above give me hope that fall is just around the corner and summer is seeing herself out.

Scored these lovely new loafers Saturday at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  It's been hard to find leopard print pony hair flats to replace my ones from Target that should have been trashed quite some time ago.  

These Steve Madden loafers are originally $89.95, but they were on sale for $59.90.  Talk about a great savings!  I wish i had been able to score some of the other pieces I had been eyeing, but by 2 pm, those gems were gone! Probably best for my credit card.  Lord knows it doesn't need anymore of a workout.

       Now there are all different types of animal print that can be found out there; zebra, cheetah, giraffe, ostrich, and so on.  But in my world, lets be real, leopard is the only print that counts.  I'm obsessed with leopard print.  In fact as i'm typing this, there are 4 pairs of leopard prints shoes giving me the evil eye as we speak.  Now i'm bold enough to rock the silk leopard shorts & ankle booties at any point, but I do know some folks who would NEVER wear leopard.  Not in shorts and not in a scarf.  To those i offer a simpler options who want to rock the leopard without feeling like it's wearing you; accessories!!! J. Crew offers hints of leopard in sunglasses, scarves & even iphone cases.
