I'm super excited Dallas is having a(n) (upscale) flea market this weekend. I've yet to go to one in Dallas. I've been to the Melrose Flea Market on the first sunday of the month, but i'm hoping this weekend can be a mere fraction of Melrose's Flea Market if not a fraction of the Flea market in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl. I'm on the lookout for art, furniture, vintage clothes and random little trinkets that look great collecting dust on my shelves! I hope to have a full update with pics and hopefully a few new items for my humble abode! Here's the info for the up coming extravaganza!
I guess its more like releasing my inner cheetah than a tiger, but you get it! Target is finally getting back on point with their shoe selections! I know i talked about animal prints being very big this season (see here) so i had to jump on the band wagon with the super adorable flats. I love wearing these with my black slacks, even my pencil skirts and jeans. These add just the right amount of kick to my outfit without being the the main attraction! Just adding pops of animal print look fantastic, but full body animal prints is an overkill! See even Aubrey loves them!
I had the pleasure a few years ago to see Esthero at the Roxy. Best concert ever! Just her and two guitars. she planned 2 songs and while we were upset that she planned to play 2 songs, she explained that she was there for 2 hours and for the last 1 hour and 50 mins if we didn't hear our favorite song it was because we didn't yell loud enough!! How fantastical is that?!? Wikkid Lil' Girrls is my favorite album! But Heaven Sent is close behind. Here's a few of my favorite songs.
The title alone makes one ask can noodles get drunk? If they are from Andaman Thai in Denton they get crazy drunk! So i had plans with my friend Tiffany for bubbles (champagne) and Thai for sunday evening. Well come Saturday around noon my craving for Thai could not wait one more day. So i grabbed Breaking Dawn and burned rubber down the road towards the square to get my fix. Andaman Thai is local eatery that has blown my mind with the best food ever! I'm still not down with curries, but i'm ok with all other items. Between the steam pork dumplings, vegetarian crispy rolls and the drunken noodles (and pad thai, glass noodles, etc) I find myself craving these items at least twice a week! Looking at these pics makes my mouth water like a leaky faucet! ohh i'm hungry now! Enjoy these yummy pics!!
