Death of Edison
This past Friday, the Dallas Arts District held its annual Aurora Art Event. Various artist created massive art instillations that lined 19 blocks of Downtown Dallas. And the best part, it was all free. My favorites included Death of Edison (see above skull of lights) and The Singing in the Rain (very last picture) where umbrellas were synchronized to Singing in the Rain. The projections on the Wyly were incredible. I can't wait until this comes back next year. I will be there early to catch every instillation.

This instillation telling of the lengths people go to to protect children can destroy their childhood. At least thats what I got out of it.
